Absolute Aliens Oy was established  in the beginning of the year 2000.

The first product of Absolute Aliens was WinCPRS software,  Cardiopulmonary Research System running in  Windows operation system. The development history of this product is much longer, the first versions for Windows operation system are dated to 1997. It is a successor of the DOS-based software from the beginning of the 1990. Before year 2000 WinCPRS has been used by several research and clinical laboratories all over the world. The encouraging feedback from the users has gained our vision  that WinCPRS should be commercialized.  Now we have expanding group of users at university hospitals and research institutes in Finland, Germany,  Hungary, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Canada, South Korea, Kuwait, Australia, Brasil and Colombia.  We have developed our product also for clinical use, not only for scientists and researchers.

The founders of Absolute Aliens have a solid academic background. This guarantees that all the analysis methods embedded in WinCPRS  have rigid mathematical, medical and physiological foundation. One of the main reasons for the success of WinCPRS is the fact that we have also worked hard to create a truly user-friendly tool. We are happy to receive any suggestions and new ideas on how to improve WinCPRS and we are ready to add any special functions our customers might feel are necessary for their specific needs.

Absolute Aliens has the quality assurance system based on the standard ISO 13485. This validates us to desing, manufacture and test WinCPRS software as a medical device in the class IIa according the Medical Device Directive (MDD) 93/42/EEC.
