Specifications of Multipurpose channels
|
Multipurpose channels can be connected from any device having voltage output. Since the sensitivity of these channels can be set by the user, the dynamic range of the analog-to-digital converter can be fully utilized. This guarantees that the recorded signals have high resolution needed for accurate analysis. Each multipurpose channel is electrically isolated from other inputs, power
source and and computer. Therefore the ground levels of various external devices
are not mutually connected through the data acquisition system which can
otherwise produce ground currents and noise into the signals. Isolation also
improves considerably the safety of the system, most important factor in medical
environments. True differential input configuration helps with signal sources,
where the reference level is not zero. It also minimizes external disturbances
on the signals in high impedance systems. And by selecting either bipolar or
unipolar input type, the measuring range can be set optimally. |
